Jesse and I are based out of Tallahassee, Florida, home of Florida State and the Seminoles! Our local church is Every Nation Tallahassee, which is pastored by Ps. Ron Miller. It was he and his wife, Cindy, who planted the seed of moving here to Florida in 2001. They are amazing people who have laid down their lives to serve this city and we respect them very much!
In 2002, Jesse & I met at church in Reno, Nevada just before I moved to Florida for college. Jesse was student athlete playing football for the University of Nevada, Reno. After a 3 year, long-distance relationship, we got married in March of 2006 and have lived in Tallahassee since.
Jesse is actively involved with Jiu Jitsu, amongst his many physical activities. We enjoy building relationships with other young people in our church and from work. We are also big movie buffs and avid readers! Our latest hobby, however, is building websites.
Jesse is working as a fitness/athletic trainer at a gym called Body Trac. They are a franchise of local gyms and hope to grow exponentially in 2008. He has wonderful clientele and they have been a pivitol part of helping him become integrated into the Tallahassee community.
Jesse graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2005 holding a degree in History and Political Science. In April 2007, I graduated with a degree in Political Science and Geography from FSU. For the last year, I have been working for a wonderful PR firm, Moore Consulting Group, that keeps me on my toes. We have been rated as one of the top 100 PR firms in the nation and have some very interesting clients.
Although the Sunshine State holds many wonderful things (ie. Disney World), our hearts are still engaged to the West Coast. We hope to rejoin our families later on in 2008.
